This application note explores the impact of various parameters on the performance of the CIMmultus® SO3 column. CIMmultus SO3 is a strong cation exchanger (CEX) that binds molecules with a predominantly positive charge and repels molecules with a predominantly negative charge across the entire pH range. It allows binding of all AAV serotypes and provides advanced removal of process-related impurities, such as host cell proteins (HCP) and DNA (hcDNA), while maintaining high recovery rates.
