This study evaluated the purification efficiency of the CIMmultus SO3 column compared to two commercially available affinity resins for Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) purification. AAV material was prepared using two distinct procedures tailored for AAV8 and AAV9. The results demonstrated that the CIMmultus SO3 column achieved comparable or superior recovery rates for AAV8 and AAV9, respectively, while also providing effective impurity reduction through a shorter and more efficient process.
