• Binds molecules with predominantly positive charge, repels molecules a predominantly negative charge
• Use for capture, intermediate, or polishing steps in either bind-elute or flow-through mode
• High capacity for purification of virus and VLP particles, large proteins
• Sanitizable with 1 M NaOH
