CIMacTM SO3 Analytical Column

Cat. No.: 111.6157

General Description:

The CIMacTM SO3-0.1 Analytical Columns are monolithic short bed high performance cation-exchange columns that are primarily intended for fast, efficient and reproducible separations of biomolecules like proteins and viral particles. Their small volume and short column length allow the operation at high volumetric flow rates (from 1 to 30 column volumes/min) thus enabling receiving the information about the product quantity and purity in just a few minutes. Hence, the CIMacTM SO3-0.1 Analytical Columns can be effectively used for the in-process and final control of various samples from different purification process steps.

Features and Benefits:

  • Low volume monolithic stationary phase in a stainless steel housing with a low dead volume and excellent flow distribution.
High efficiency and high sensitivity of the column. Very shallow linear gradients can be applied without deteriorating the column performance.
  • Small bed volume with high binding capacity
Extremely fast separations speed up method development and anaylsis time.
  • Flow unaffected resolution
Enables changing the flow rate without any deterioration of the separation. In-process control of various process streams and final control of the pure samples can be done within only a few minutes. Enabling PAT technology.
  • High chemical stability.
Enables regeneration and cleaning under extreme conditions, such as 1.0 M strong acids and bases, organic solvents and highly concentrated salt solutions.
  • High sensitivity
It keeps the benefits of the CIM® Disk Monolithic Columns, but the sensitivity is additionally improved due to a special design of the CIMacTM columns.
The CIMacTM Analytical Columns can be used for both process screening and optimization as well as for the HPLC process analytics (in-process and final control).
Low sample and buffer consumption.
