Bioconversion and Solid Phase Synthesis June 6-9, 2004, Portorož, Slovenia
Dear Colleague,
After more than a decade of research and practical experience,
monolithic supports are playing an important role in biochromatography, bioconversion, and solid phase synthesis. There are several small analytical and preparative scale applications using this new technology. In addition, the first industrial processes using monoliths (CIM Convective Interaction Media®) have recently been implemented in some international biotech companies.
Now, it is time to share this collective knowledge at the First Monolith Summer School. This event will take place from June 6th to June 9th, 2004 in Portorož located on the beautiful Slovenian coast and just a few kilometers from Italy.
A group of international experts will conduct the lectures and workshops and discuss method optimization, trouble shooting, and integration of monoliths into already existing R&D, Production, or QA processes. The scientific committee is confident that you will find the symposia valuable for your future work. Special emphasis has been given to new techniques, especially in the field of miniaturization.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the School!
