Agilent Technologies and BIA Separations Strike a Deal to Jointly Serve the Analytical Column Market
Today Agilent Technologies announced that they have signed an agreement to supply the world's biotechnology market with Analytical Columns developed and produced by BIA Separations. “Having access to the bio-monolithic technology allows Agilent to provide enabling solutions for the analytical separation of virus particles, plasmid DNA, antibodies and other macro bio-molecules," said Helen Stimson, vice president and general manager, of Agilent’s Global Columns and Supplies Solutions. According to Ales Strancar, managing director of BIA Separations, “This contract shows the power of monoliths and how important they are to the biotechnology industry. Cooperations with companies, like Agilent, that provide complementary technologies will remain a key part of our long term business strategy.”
